By-laws |

The by-laws of the Spanish Clinical Pharmacology Society establish the following requirements for the admission of new members:
- Accreditation of their association to Clinical Pharmacology in either of the following aspects:
- Doctors in Medicine and Surgery who accredit that they are performing Clinical Pharmacology activities
- Other healthcare professionals accrediting that they are linked to a Clinical Pharmacology Unit
- Membership application should be sent with a Curriculum vitae to the Board of Governors.
The Board of Governors' decision shall be ratified by the General Assembly |

Procedure |

The application should be sent to ,
preferably by e-mail, attaching two duly completed forms:
- A standard on the SEFC form .
- The on the relevant form for entry in our files.
The application will be initially assessed by the SEFC management board, which will consider whether it is valid. Valid applications will be presented at the following SEFC General Assembly, of which one is held every year, generally at the same time as the congress. The association is formalised when the assembly approves the admission of members proposed by the management board. |

Personal data |

The personal data provided by members is necessary for identification and communication purposes. According to the Personal Data Protection Act (Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13), the SEFC informs that the personal data provided voluntarily on the membership application forms and curriculum vitae are entered in the SEFC confidential database.
Likewise, by filling in the forms, the future member grants his/her consent for the SEFC to use his/her personal data to inform him/her about activities, courses, publications or other subjects related to the SEFC which could be of interest, compliant with Spanish legislation concerning data protection.

Membership fees |
|

Regular members pay an annual fee to the SEFC which is currently 40 euros.
Fees are generally paid in April by direct debit to the bank account indicated by the members. In the case of new members, they pay no fees until they are formally admitted by the assembly, generally at the end of October or beginning of November. Once they have been admitted, they are charged the fee for the current year.
Although direct debit is the preferred method of payment, others are equally valid. Please send your queries to. |

Exemption from fees |
|

Honorary members are exempted from the payment of fees (see by-laws).
Members 70 years of age or older can be exempt from the payment of fees. Please send the necessary information to SEFC Management Board |

Unpaid fees |
|
| |
The failure to pay fees can lead to the expulsion of regular members if, having been required to pay the annual fee, they have failed to do so or to justify their failure to do so within three months of the demand. Nevertheless, such members may be readmitted, once only, by paying all unpaid fees up to the date of new membership, with a 50% surcharge. |
